Francisco Lindor Welcomes Baby Girl Camila
Mets Star and Fiancée Katia Reguero Announce Arrival of First Child
New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor and his fiancée, Katia Reguero, have welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Camila.
The couple announced the birth of their daughter on Instagram on Friday, January 20, 2023. "Welcome to the world, our little princess Camila," Lindor wrote. "We are so happy and blessed to have you in our lives."
Reguero also shared a photo of the newborn on her Instagram account, writing, "Our hearts are full of love and joy. Welcome to the world, Camila."
Lindor and Reguero have been together since 2016 and got engaged in 2021. The couple is planning to get married later this year.
Camila is the first child for both Lindor and Reguero. The couple has not yet released any other details about their daughter, such as her weight or length.
Lindor is coming off a strong season with the Mets, helping the team reach the World Series for the first time since 2015. He is expected to be a key part of the Mets' lineup in 2023.
