Dallas Mavericks Take 3-2 Series Lead

Doncic Powers Mavericks to Game 5 Win

Led by Luka Dončić's outstanding performance, the Dallas Mavericks defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 110-104 in Game 5 of their Western Conference semifinal series on Tuesday night. Dončić finished the game with a triple-double, scoring 31 points, grabbing 12 rebounds, and dishing out 10 assists.

The Mavericks now hold a 3-2 lead in the series and can clinch a berth in the Western Conference Finals with a win in Game 6 on Thursday night in Oklahoma City.

Besides Dončić, other key contributors for the Mavericks included Spencer Dinwiddie, who scored 22 points, and Maxi Kleber, who added 15 points and 10 rebounds.

For the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 30 points, while Josh Giddey added 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The game was close throughout, with neither team leading by more than 10 points at any point. In the end, it was Dončić's brilliance that made the difference, as he scored 11 points in the fourth quarter to help the Mavericks secure the victory.
